El jerarca añadió que la Federación no está en condiciones de pagar un técnico como La Volpe, que, según él, le costaría a la Fedefutbol alrededor de $3,5 millones por los cuatro años.
My understanding is $480,000 for LaVolpe & $120,000 for the assistantweh him bring.

It is unacceptable in this day and age that we don't have visual media coverage of the preparations leading up to the game by the JFF.
The cost of the equiptment and a dedicated videoman is not costly especially if you get a student and a facebook page.
If we want money and sponsors we have to get over this beggy beggy western union mentality and start building our thing.
Its not easy as we are under sorcery, but its not impossible and we have to start somewhere. A feasibility study could be a start but we have the world at our feet in the internet age.
It took me months to reprogram myself from seeing all the possible negatives and focusing on the positives but now I understand how to approach this problem and it all stems from lack of education of who we are.
Once we know who we are then the limits we place on ourselves will fall away. Memba this, the Jamaican player is the player of the future(quick learner, speedy, warrior spirit and fighter) its our teachers that don't believe why we don't achieve.
That is why we need advanced spiritual teachers reminding us of who we are.

That was when he was making US$40,000 per year as a rookie....now he is a well-paid,nourished, fit and fine tuned machine running with the like of Marquez, Henry and Angel.
Dane Richards just don't look like a Balla but he's effective player. He' probably be the last man picked in a pick up Game at a the Park but the next time him show up at that park, he would probably be the first man Picked....
Dane Kinda remind me of larry Bird and Kevin Mchale and Robert Parish of the old Celtics none a dem look like dem coulda play Ball, but all three a dem are headed to the Basketall Hall of Fame.

Taylor to captain Reggae Boyz Published: Saturday | September 4, 2010 0 Comments and 0 Reactions
Taylor and head coach Whitmore. - FileCentral defender Jermaine Taylor will captain the Jamaica senior football team when they line up in a friendly international against their Costa Rican counterparts at the National Stadium tomorrow, starting at 6 p.m.
The local-based Taylor, who also captains Digicel Premier League team St Georges Sports Club of Portland, is very experienced and has been a key member of the Reggae Boyz outfit for several years now.
The Costa Ricans are scheduled to arrive in the island this afternoon.
The last time the countries met was at the CONCACAF Gold Cup last year, when Costa Rica won 1-0 on a goal by midfielder Celso Borges, who will also be making the trip to Jamaica.
The Costa Ricans also have history on their side, having beaten Jamaica 10 times out of 19 matchups.
However, they will be playing a Jamaica team which has not lost at home since June in 2007.
The Central Americans will be travelling with a 22-man squad comprising several players who also play with members of the Jamaican team in domestic leagues.
Ten of the visiting players ply their trade in leagues outside of Costa Rica, such as the US Major League Soccer (MLS), Norway, Belgium and Poland.
The Costa Rican team will also include respected defender Roy Miller, who plays for New York Red Bulls in the MLS.
Miller will face clubmate Dane Richards, who is expected to feature in the Jamaican attack. Miller has been at New York for a few months now, while Richards has been at the club for three years.
Incidentally, it was Richards who helped the Costa Rican to settle into his new environment.
Overseas-based players
Richards is among more than 10 overseas-based players who have been summoned by head coach Theodore Whitmore for the clash.
Among them are Donovan Ricketts (LA Galaxy - USA), Shavar Thomas (Kansas City Wizards - USA), Ryan Johnson (San Jose Earthquates - USA), Omar Daley (Bradford City FC - UK), Omar Cummings (Colorado Rapids - USA), Dane Richards (New York Red Bulls - USA), Demar Phillips (Aalesund FC - Norway), Jason Morrison (Stromgodset IL - Norway), Luton Shelton (Valarenga FC - Norway), Nicholas Addlery (Puerto Rico Islanders) and Lovel Palmer (Houston Dynamo).
The referee for the match will be Trinidad and Tobago's Neil Brizan, while former FIFA referee Charles Barrett is the match commissioner
