Boss Bibi and fuller can both make the team , why dont you tell latapy what to do , why come over here and chat fawt !? you have seen what York even in his late 30s have done for trinidad ,was'nt he di one scored against Bahrain in the 2006 playoff ? was'nt he the one scored in that 2-1 win over USA
I think the average age team for jamaica should be 27 to 29 years old . We cannot find another willy boo or bibi yet so dont come here with your deceptive analysis , its a public forum and we dont mind u objective .

Jamaica's Reggae Boyz turned the tables on the 53rd-ranked Costa Ricans with a 1-0 win yesterday, in an international friendly football match at the National Stadium.
The 82nd-ranked Reggae Boyz had suffered 1-0 losses to the Costa Ricans in their last two meetings. The win was Jamaica's fourth in 20 encounters.
"We had to work extremely hard during the game," said Jamaica's assistant coach Bradley Stewart. "I don't think there was a moment in the game when either team was able to relax."
Ryan Johnson got the game's lone goal in the 65th minute with a well taken opportunity. He collected a lovely long-range pass from Jason Morrison, which he brought down expertly while holding off his marker Jose Miguel Cubero. He then hammered a low shot past the Costa Rican custodian Patrick Pemberton.
Johnson, who plays for San Jose Earthquakes in Major League Soccer, was scoring his second goal in his fifth game for the Boyz.
"This is my first start here in Jamaica and it is like a dream come true to score a goal in front of the home fans," said Johnson.
"I had about two or three chances today and I put away one so it is a good feeling for me as a striker," he added.
first opportunity
It was the Costa Ricans who got the first clear opportunity of the game. In the 12th minute one of the visitor's many attacks down the left flank resulted in a cross, which was played across the face of goal by Alvaro Sanchez to his teammate Manfred Russell. However, Russell under pressure from Jamaica's custodian Dwayne Miller, lifted his effort over the crossbar from close range.
Johnson also came close to opening the scoring in the 48th minute. The forward made a wonderful solo run from the middle of the Costa Rican half into the box, but his shot from an acute angle went just high.
Jamaica's coaching staff will be using the game to determine the changes that need to be made before what is expected to be a tougher game against Peru on Tuesday in Florida.
"We will use this as an opportunity to gage where we are at the moment and to make the necessary adjustments for the next game," said Stewart. "The next game is against Peru and we have to produce the results in that game," he added.
Costa Rica's head coach Ronald Gonzalez conceded that his team suffered the effects of having played very recently.
"The second half we were lacking," said Gonzalez. "As you well know we played a game less than 48 hours (ago) in Panama. We couldn't compete physically with Jamaica when they started making the changes," he added.

SJ's Johnson gives Jamaica win over Costa Rica

Ryan Johnson scored on a thunderous left-footer as Jamaica edged Costa Rica 1-0 Sunday night in a friendly in Kingston in a match flush with MLS representatives.
The San Jose Earthquakes striker got on the end of a long ball in the 66th minute at National Stadium, shucked a defender and throttled a rocket past ‘keeper Patrick Pemberton to give the Reggae Boyz their fourth win in 20 attempts over their CONCACAF rivals.
New York Red Bulls winger Dane Richards was also a big part of the victory, constantly menacing los Ticos with his speed. Richards nearly opened the scoring on his own the 20th minute after getting free on goal, but was dragged down from behind by Ricardo Blanco, who escaped with a yellow.
Richards’ RBNY teammate Roy Miller gave Costa Rica their best chance just before halftime, heading just over Dwayne Miller’s goal from six yards out.
Johnson's goal was his second for Jamaica after scoring a header at Argentina in February. Houston Dynamo midfielder Lovel Palmer was an 81st-minute substitution for Richard Edwards.
Real Salt Lake star Alvaro Saborio was an unused sub for interim coach Ronald González after providing a dramatic equalizer for Costa Rica in their 2-2 draw at Panama last Friday night.

Mi believe sey Tappa is a bigga man dan nuff man giv im credit for.
BPL season just start, top scorer so far is Flourent Malouda with 4 goals.
Fuller has one goal so far, along with the majority of players who have scored so far.
You really believe that if Fuller, with the type of attacking talent that Pulis has brought into Stoke this season in support, can hit form and hits big numbers in the BPL this year, Tappa will leave out Fuller when the real business starts just because some man don't like him ?
Its not looking good for Bibi at Bolton at the moment but if he is fit and raring to go, what the b******r**s(((lt would stop Tappa picking him for Jamaica ?
If Burrell leaves Tappa to do his job, I believe we will finally see the best side Jamaica has probably ever put on the field come next year Gold Cup and to start the 2012 qualifiers because Tappa will leave out all bias and pick the best players who are in form and performing to his expectations.
Firebun fi some a dem bias man ya; we jus lucky sey a no dem a pick de side.
It's nice to get this result regardless of which Jamaican and Costa Rican sides were out there. I didn't get to see the game but I'm glad to see Johnson on the scoresheet again. Good confidence builder for this squad as our player pool and depth grows. How was our goalkeeping? Licks fi Peru next.

Reddevil, the goalkeeeper Dwayne Miller did a decent job. He showed confidence. Tappa also played 6 subs and the win will be good for their confidence also.
