Con este fogueo ya son tres los que tiene confirmados la Tricolor para los próximos meses. Recordemos que en setiembre jugará en Panamá (día 3) y Jamaica (5).
I did not hear of this anywhere else. Anyone else can confirm?

JAMAICA'S Reggae Boyz have been booked to play their next home international friendly game against CONCACAF rivals Costa Rica here at the National Stadium on Sunday, September 5.
This latest confirmation brings the total number of friendly international games for the Reggae Boyz to three in as many months following an earlier agreement between the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) and the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) for a two-legged series.

"I can confirm that a strong Costa Rican national team will play against the Reggae Boyz here at the Office on Sunday, September 5," responded JFF president Captain Horace Burrell yesterday.
"It was not easy to organise this game, but we managed to pull it off in the end," added the JFF boss, who was able to successfully negotiate the home and away series against Trinidad and Tobago while on duty at the 2010 FIFA World Cup Finals in South Africa between June 11 and July 11.
Those games are slated for Wednesday, August 11 in Trinidad, with the return slated for the National Stadium on Sunday, October 10.
The local governing body's arranging of these three friendlies is all part of the continuation of the Brazil 2014 World Cup Qualification programme, as well as preparation for the Digicel CFU Caribbean Cup, which is slated for Martinique between late November and early December.
Being the first home game for the Boyz since opening their 2010 campaign with a 1-0 win over Canada on January 31, Captain Burrell is expecting both teams to be at full strength, which would bolster spectator support.
"We will be able to field the strongest squad possible, as all our overseas players will be available for selection seeing that it is a FIFA date," declared Captain Burrell, a CFU vice-president and CONCACAF executive member.
Costa Rica just missed qualifying for the South Africa World Cup Finals after being edged out by the odd goal (1-2) in their two-way play-off with South America's two-time World Cup champions Uruguay, who finished a creditable fourth in the 19th edition.
Outside of the friendly against Canada, the Boyz also engaged Argentina in a 1-2 loss in Mar Del Plata on February 10, then suffered a 0-2 loss to World Cup hosts South Africa in that country.
Captain Burrell is now looking to tie up another friendly for November 17, the last of the FIFA dates on the 2010 calendar.
"We will be able to field the strongest squad possible, as all our overseas players will be available for selection seeing that it is a FIFA date," declared Captain Burrell, a CFU vice-president and CONCACAF executive member.
How can this be possible if we do not have the money to bring in all the best players from overseas? I suspect that the team will be mostly local players and maybe 2-3 overseas players who pay for their trip.
I would think whoever take the field in those games would be the players we will be seeing regularly in the team in next few years. The quality locals should be getting a run and it would be silly to call your seasoned players when some of them will not be in the team in the long run. ETC Gardner, Davis, Fuller, Stewart. The games are on FIFA dates so we at least should get some players who have a future in the team. ie US base, Norway base players
Unnu cry fi strong side fi play useless pre-WC sparring games, and now unnu ah acknowledge seh unnu no have no money fi get a strong side once preparation start.
So if unnu no have money now where unnu envision getting money from once preparation gets kicked in high gear necessitating a huge infusion of funds?
Carter, Burrell promised a strong team...Without those players and others you did not mentioned, but are in the same boat, where is the strong team going to come from?

Or him a go try his usual. Steal from Peter fi pay Paul and handicap the team down the line when it really matters.
i am not sure what this game will test. Seems nutty. It would make sense if it is a prep/test for the digicel cup but it seems too early for that. Which means that we just plan on showing up with a rux team and get a beating from CR all in the name of "looking at a few players".
