Why the JFF and not the local clubs who need these players for the JA leagues. The JFF select national teams from the best players at the club level so it would make sense that the clubs must learn how to recruit and develop the best youth players. We need to stop this JFF should do this and that because those clubs are businesses that will not survive unless they recruit and invest in players. The JFF is not a club they select national teams for FIFA competition from our leagues that are suppose to be professional. So we need people/businesses to invest in the league, players, we need to become professional etc.

The KIT contract is between the JFF and Kappa, so they can at least coordinate and cooperate. At least coordinate trials.

----------------

You think Brazil(CBF) does not encourage their national team players to sign NIKE contracts and play for NIKE sponsored clubs.

It is not be accident that Ronaldinho played for PSG and Barcelona.

Well great if you think since KAPPA sponsor us then we must try and get trials with Kappa sponsored champions league team. We need to do a lot of player and infrastructure development before those teams will start signing our players. Maybe with time when someone open their eyes at the opportunity.

Well it seems now KAPPA club's Valencia(Spain) and Valerenga(Norway) have taken a strong interest in Jamaican football development.

I like the move boss we need professional help to take our talented kids to the next level. I have always thought our participation at the youth level should make us a prime target for international teams looking for young players. We need infrastructure then we can pursue joint ventures.

Just a question...has Jamaica ever participated at the Toulon U21 tournament? Might it be worth looking into making friends with the right people to get an invite? Qatar got an invite for 2009...I think if we can afford it (huge IF) it's something that could be a long term benefit. Would have to be in a non-Gold Cup year so the monies can be focused on the senior team.

I asked the same thing awhile back but I think its hard to enter that tournament... if we took a purely overseas based team that paid their own way it could reduce the cost but the quality wouldn't really be there until an Olympic year and that would maybe be at the time of our preliminary world cup qualifying

Is our Kappa contract helping our players to get opportunities at clubs like Valerenga, Valencia, Fulham, Roma, Dortmund and Brann?
