Currently, we have approximately 15 Reggaeboyz playing in the top North American leagues in Canada, USA and Mexico. As we continue to develop our own DPL, our players need to pursue more loans deal and full contracts in the top Canadian, American and Mexican league. We should have at least 25 players in these leagues.

to improve their game and experience the pro environment, players like Dane Richards prove weekly that raw talent alone is not wat it takes . if that was it then Jermain Hue would have hacked it overseas .

We have some players whose playing style is a bit more suited to the North American leagues but our player need to be a bit more open-minded.

Final 21 announced for USL Showcase 90-player list for annual combine set for next week USL News Release
Friday, January 29, 2010
TAMPA, FL – United Soccer Leagues announced today the final 21 players who will be among the 90 participants at next week’s USL Men’s Player Showcase in Charleston, SC when the Charleston Battery of the USL Second Division host USL’s premier identification event for professional coaches and scouts.
Leading the list of the final 21 players are 2009 Premier Development League award winners Adam Gazda and Debola Ogunseye. Gazda, an All-League selection in 2008, earned All-Conference honors for the second consecutive year, leading Reading to the regular season championship with a record of 13-1-2 on 10 goals and four assists. Ogunseye left quite an impression in his first year in the league, scoring 14 goals as he led Mississippi to a similar one-loss campaign at 9-1-6.
Nineteen of the final 21 players hail from the PDL with 14 having played in the league at least two seasons. An additional player was added in replacement of the previously announced Richard Martinez, who has signed a professional contract since accepting his initial invitation.
Among the 70 players that were previously announced were 59 that had experience playing in the USL Premier Development League, 39 of which have played at least two seasons in the league. Leading the list of players were former PDL All-Conference selections Anthony Dibiase (Forest City London, 2009), and Jake Stacy (West Michigan Edge 2006), who played for the Michigan Bucks the past two seasons.
USL has helped to establish the professional playing careers of 109 players through the USL Player Combine since 2006.
“To have one-third of all the players who have ever attended the USL Player Combine catch on with a professional club legitimizes the event,” said USL Director of PDL Operations, Lee Cohen. “When we started the USL Player Showcase in 2006, we knew there were talented players out there who deserved a shot to play professionally. Adding over a hundred players to the professional ranks in the past three seasons has undoubtedly raised the level of play in North America.”
Final 21 Participants
Francisco Aristeguita, Kyle Bak, Matt Baker, Levi Coleman, Jonathan Collier, Julien Edwards, Kevin Gallaugher, Adam Gazda, Denis Geoffrey, Brian Harris, Justin Hoskins, Gift Maworere, John Moore, Arie Muniz, Kevin Noschang, Debola Ogunseye, Zach Prince, Daniel Revivo, Michael Strickland, Ryan Thompson, Martin Vickerton, Garrett Webb

i think the reason why there ant more jamaican obtaining contract in north america is that most jamaican footballer and jamaican on a whole are branded as lazy...which in my opinion is correct...just my opinion.

There were some in the past but since 2005, name one Jamaican player currently playing professional soccer in North America who you would consider lazy?

Pretty silly argument...
Maybe the players dont have good agents. Its the agent's job to go "sell" his players ability to any number of clubs.
