So now Tappa has twelve 12 months to begin preparation for retaining the Caribbean Cup and qualification for the 2011 Gold Cup. The dates of the final stage Nov. 1-15 are a bit difficult because neither Norwegian or MLS season end until Nov. 10, 2010.

Actually, if we can get placed into Group A in July during the World Cup would suit us well. We would have the DPL, Norwegian, Hungarian and u21 players available for selection.
Isn't the Caribbean cup final taking place in Haiti? if that's the case JA and the Trini will have a tough time down there.. I remembered that i read some place that the 2010 caribbean cup final will take place in Haiti.

jamatl truhaitian and a Guy who post on Bigsoccer from Guadeloupe both said the finals is going to be in Haiti . I am saying , as the defending Champions will we(JA) play in Qualifiers? , Note : Haiti was exempt from playing in Qualifiers during 2008 because of Burrell ,am thinking will we be granted the same favor ?.

Not really JY in 2005 we won the caribbean cup and in 2007 we had to do Qualifying which we were beaten 2-1 by St vincent and Haiti won the Group in Kingston . Haiti won the trophy in 2007 but by request from CFU Vice President Horace Burrell to have them in Kingston for 2008 why the did not played in the qualifying rounds.

I believe Jamaica will need to qualify for the final round to build chemistry for 2011. We have an experienced an knowledgable coach in Tappa, who played in several Caribbean and Gold Cup and has coached in the 2008 Digicel Cup and 2009 Gold Cup. Right now, it looks like we will need to depend on the DPL players so we have twelve(12) months to build them up.

The next 2010 Caribbean Championship is likely to be in Trinidad , It's sad ,the haitian FA should ask Jack Warner to host the championship .

During November 1-15 we should have a few MLS players if they are not in the playoffs and also hopefully we could grab a few Scandanavian players and Demar Stewart in China.
ANd a few locals :
Dwayne Miller Shaun Sawyers Devon Hodges Kemar Daley Ricardo Cousins Roland Dean Jermaine Hue
Does anyone know how CFU have seeded teams for previous Caribbean Championship / Caribbean Nations Cup draws? I could find no info and came up with a Caribbean NT coefficient.

I believe the CFU teams that made the 2010 WCQ semifinal rounds will receive the higher seeds so Jamaica, Trinidad, Haiti and Cuba should have the top seeds.
Hello everyone! True, it seems that's Guadeloupe which has been chosen to receive the final stage of the DCC. Normally the event should have taken place in Haiti, but since the earthquake has been there. In any case the Guadeloupe's bid will certainly be made official at the next CFU congress in february.
