Bigga did not get off the bench today for Barnsley, but at least he was on it. Damion was in the same situation for QPR. JJ played most of the game for Wednesday. John Barnes might be on his way back to JA soon, as they were pounded 4-0 by Charlton.
Luton Shelton returns as the hero in VIF's 2-1 win over 2nd place Molde. He scored one goal and assisted on the second. Coach said he is more focused now - than before leaving for Aalborg (Denmark).

"Crystal Palace have completed the signing on a two-year contract of former Derby County defender Claude Davis, who played on loan at Selhurst Park last term." (Sept 1 2009)
Davis puts pen to paper at Palace
Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Jamaican defender Claude Davis, who was a free agent after leaving Derby earlier in the summer.
The 30-year-old centre-half has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at Selhurst Park.
Davis had a spell on loan with Palace at the end of last season, making seven appearances, and also played under Eagles boss Neil Warnock at Sheffield United.
"I had him at Sheffield United and made him a millionaire there so he owes me one," said Warnock.
"He has had his contract cancelled up at Derby so he's free to come and sign now and he will be good."
To follow up the above post, here is the "great man" in his own words. And for those who wonder about work permits where some of our present players are concerned, note the residency reference:
Davis: I was never going anywhere but Palace Tuesday 1st September 2009
By Graham Moody
Claude Davis says he never thought of going anywhere else after signing a two-year contract at Crystal Palace yesterday.
The Jamaican international, who played seven games while on loan at the Eagles last year, was linked with a permanent move all summer but had to wait until transfer deadline day to complete the deal after Palace were slapped with a transfer embargo at the start of the month.
"The main objective is to survive first and foremost but as player you always think about getting promoted and playing in the Premier League, that's what we are aiming for."
He also had to pass a residency test last week having been in the country for more than five years, which meant he didn't need a work permit.
Despite the long wait he insisted he was always intent moving to Selhurst Park.
"Since I was on loan there last season I always wanted to go there permanently," he said.
"My agent was speaking to some people but my concentration was always on Palace as I wanted to work for Neil Warnock again.
"As soon as news of the embargo came out I spoke to him and he said there was nothing to worry about and it would be gone before the deadline and I believed him because I trust him.
"It's good to get it sorted though and I can concentrate on playing football now."
Davis was troubled with injury throughout last season and made just 31 appearances in two seasons at Derby County, but dismissed doubters who say he is injury prone.
"I had knee surgery a year ago and missed pre-season so I was always playing catch up," he said.
"The injuries kept happening too but this season I have had a pre-season and feel good and my legs are fine.
"I am fit and ready to go."
The 30-year-old will now look to disrupt Palace's main centre-back pairing of Jose Fonte and Paddy McCarthy, who have yet to keep a clean sheet this season.
"They are good players and we will see what happens," he said.
"The main objective is to survive first and foremost but as a player you always think about getting promoted and playing in the Premier League, that's what we are aiming for."
i dunno if we're doing college... but if we are yannick salmon the captain of the rutgers mens soccer team converted a penalty in their season opening win and hasani sinclair has scored a goal in usf's preseason and had a game today that results have yet to be posted for

Reggae Boyz Addlery, Fraser on target for Islanders
CMC
Wednesday, September 02, 2009
BAYAMON, Puerto Rico (CMC) - Jamaicans Sean Fraser and Nicholas Addlery pumped in a goal each for Puerto Rico Islanders to whip Minnesota Thunder 3-1 in their United Soccer Leagues (USL) First Division match on Sunday.
ADDLERY... scored in the 39th minute to trigger three unanswered goals that sunk visiting Minnesota
Minnesota led early but PR Islanders hit back when Addlery scored in the 39th minute to trigger three unanswered goals that sunk visiting Minnesota in wet and slippery conditions at the Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium.
The result moved the fourth-placed PR Islanders up to 44 points in standings, trailing Portland Timbers (52), Carolina RailHawks (49) and Charleston Battery (46).
Melvin Tarley opened the scoring, sending Minnesota ahead after just six minutes but Addlery locked the game at 1-1 six minutes before the break when he dribbled in from the right flank and scored.
Fraser got the go-ahead goal in the 65th minute and Cristian Arrieta made the game safe for PR Islanders by scoring from the penalty spot in the 85th minute.
The USL Second Division was decided this past weekend when Richmond Kickers rallied from being 0-1 down to beat Charlotte Eagles 3-1 in the final at University of Richmond Stadium.
Forward Edson Elcock, who has Trinidadian parents, equalised in the 63rd minute after Diego Martins had given Charlotte a 14th-minute lead.
John DiRaimondo (83rd) and David Bulow (86th) hit late goals for Richmond to clinch the title.
September 5th: Deon Burton scored for Charlton (3) Tristan Plummer scored two (one a penalty) for Hereford (3) Ricky Sappleton scored for Macclesfield (1) Joel Grant scored for Crewe (1)
Tranmere were beaten 3-0 today by Carlisle. This means that John Barnes has now lost five of his first six league games, and his team has scored four goals and allowed fifteen. They are second last in League One.
We know that the team is broke, and that they have played their early games against the better teams, but the fans are baying for Barnes' blood. Some of the nicer posts say:
"Another thrashing. By far the worse gd in the league, 5 defeats on the trott, haven't scored in 5 games... yes, he should be sacked - a decent team pushing for the play-offs has been completely ruined over the last 3-4 months."
"The players we have ARE good enough. They just dont seem bothered and aren't compatable with Barnes's useless style of play."
Management have given him the obligatory "time to get it right" nod, but we all know that this is usually the kiss... I wish him well, because JT was correct when he said that he will get no other chances to manage in England, if this one does not work out.
we should sign him for the olympic coach as of now... even england is looking to sign one by january, plus if he can take the boyz to london in 2012 I am sure he could reclaim a job there
