I guess S'Bear sentiments is really about the fact that the core group of older seniors on the team has not really won or come close winning anything on the international stage. And the fact that their time basically is up means it's almost like a mourning period for the team.
The older players really don't have anything tangible to look forward to, except for friendlies and to keep up ranking; until they are either retired or their placed given to others who we are not really seeing right now.
Shag'B, listen though, with the exception of JJ & Bibi the midfield is still relatively young (Morisson, Austin, Phillips JCR etc;
We have a ton of young talented forwards vieing for a spot; and probably as much defenders in competitive leagues.
I think we'll not have much of a transitional problem in the years to come; certain younger players are already establishing themselves.
