Tappa,
The squad for this match needs to identified and start training shortly. I think the MLS players should definately be involved along 1-2 top NCAA ballas, who have high professional potential should train with the squad. If the Tivoli players are playing in the Bronx league, Tappa should confirm there availability by Friday.
Use experience in the back and give the youths a chance up top. If a player does not have the discipline to maintain their fitness level for 60 minutes of football, do not CALL them.

I think our squad for this match will feature several Portmore United players with a mix of few mls players. PMU will be returning from a tour of Norway. I will be observing for the small details mental toughness, quality passing and team coordination, definately not expecting a win or a draw from Jamaica.
It will be a rubbish squad if we don't use cummings and ryan johnson up top and shavar with marshall in back... we already know ricketts can't play, so Miller is definately in there too

Ricketts doubtful for friendly against Ecuador
CMC
Thursday, July 30, 2009
KINGSTON, Jamaica (CMC) - Goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts is doubtful for Jamaica's international friendly next month against Ecuador because of an injury he suffered last weekend playing US Major League Soccer (MLS) for the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Ricketts... suffered hip injuries Saturday night Ricketts suffered hip injuries while attempting to make a save Saturday night for the LA Galaxy against the Kansas City Wizards at Community-America Ballpark in Kansas City.
The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) requested from LA the services of Ricketts for the August 12 match with Ecuador in New Jersey, but Galaxy officials have formally notified the local governing body here of the shot-stopper's injury.
He is set to miss the Galaxy's next MLS game against the New England Revolution on August 8 and his participation in the Ecuador match is now very unlikely.
Ricketts, 32, was injured trying to prevent a spectacular goal by Kansas City's Claudio Lopez.
Seeing Ricketts off his line, the Argentine Lopez hit a perfect long-range shot to score from the half-line in what he told reporters was the best goal of his career.
Ricketts crashed violently into the post with his diving effort - while running back - to prevent the goal and hurt his hip. He was substituted moments later.
The match ended 1-1 as forward Landon Donovan and England international David Beckham combined for a fine equaliser in the 33rd minute.
Beckham fed Donovan with a perfect pass that pierced the Wizards' defence and the US international struck an accurate low right-footer of the inside of the post into the goal for LA's equaliser.
