Final Score: Hull City 3 - 1 Exeter
Theodore Whitmore came on as a sub whilst we were 1-0 down & simply changed the match complely...sounds as if woz man of the match !
Ian Goodison played the full 90mins..playing in an unusual left back position due to injuries.bit un-easy in the 1st half...but settled in well second..as it woz a new positon!

Hull came from a goal behind to beat Exeter 3-1 at St James Park with The Tigers' goals from Theo Whitmore, Mark Greaves and Lawrie Dudfield. This opening Nationwide League fixture of the season was delayed by 15 minutes due to traffic congestion around the ground, although when it did get underway it was clear it would be an open encounter. Exeter opened the scoring midway through the first half when Jamie Campbell latched onto a deflected Dylan Kerr free-kick to give The Grecians the lead. Kerr hit his free-kick into the wall, and quickest to pounce was Campbell whose shot from 10 yards beat keeper Matthew Glennon. Soon after, Tigers' substitute Whitmore levelled the scores with a downward header at the far post from a David Beresford left-wing cross. Whitmore had previously come on for Ryan Williams who had to leave the field of play midway through the first half with a knee injury. The Tigers made it 2-1 soon after the break thanks to Greaves. Whitmore ran at Exeter defender Gary Birch before beating him and sending the cross over into the penalty area where Greaves half-volleyed in from a tight angle at the far post. And five minutes from time, debutant Dudfield scored The Tigers' third to put the game beyond the reach of The Grecians, and give Brian Little's men the perfect start with a 3-1 victory.

hi Jack, I want to say A BIG THANK for the info. about THEO. I saw the friendly between DERBY and BARCA. POwell looked very sharp as a defensive midfielder/midfielder. Jamaica should use him in that position. The game was FOX sportworld in the USA. Keep the ball rolling.

Jack! Why is the coach benching Whitmore? It seems as if he is the best player on the team. I hate when coaches bench players to the detriment of their team in order to prove a point...
