Panama, the RBZ nemesis...

They lost 0-3 to Argentina last week, so they shoudl be feeling good that they kept the score decent.

Yes it was a domestic squad, but Diego chopped and changed because he was experimenting. Bu JA is not Argentina, and we have struggled to beat Panama, so we need to not compare our chances, but to focus on preparation.

niether is bolivia... sometimes it is not even about being as good as your opponent as it is exposing yourself to a higher speed of play or even experiencing playing in a hostile environment

If we set the game far above sea level, perhaps in La Paz or Quito, then maybe we might be competitive against a depleted Argentina but, as things are, if our domestic players played Bolivia at elevation we might have to fall on the mercy rule by half time.

lucky4life we will use a full strength team for the panama match. For the Haiti and El Salvador matches Barnes is just looking at the local players. And giving them a chance.

For the Panama match the big boys will be playing

that is very good what barnes is doing by given the yard ballers them that chance and opperturnity to show barnes what they can do,but JAMAICANYOUTH who good is these yeard players that did play in the HAITI VS JAMAICA match, is any of them is good enough to be in the senior national team/reggaeboyz,REYON JHONSON is looking very good in the MLS he have been scoreing gols too i hope that he get call for the GOLD CUP,he play for the EARTHQUAKES

The yard ballers that I think could be in the national side are possibly Orane Simpson and Eric Vernon and maybe Adrian Reid.

luky4life yes Ryan Johnson is playing good ball in the MLS but if u look at it our forwards are set for Gold Cup we have some good forwards for Gold Cup.

1. Luton Shelton
2. Marlon King
3. Ricardo Fuller
4. Zavon Hines
5. Nicholas Addlery
6. Dane Richards

But maybe jus maybe Ryan Johnson would be given a chance but if i had to pick i would say our 6 forwards that is most likely going to be in the Gold Cup are fine.

As the Middle is concerned

1. Ricardo Gardner
2. Rudolph Austin
3. Jason Morrison
4.Demar Phillips
5. Khari Stephenson
6. Andy Williams ( Hopefully )
7. Jamal Campbell Ryce
8. Jermaine Johnson

As far as our defense is concerned we have a brickwall

1. Tyrone Marshall
2. Ian Goodison
3. Claude Davis
4. Damion Stewart
5. Danny Simpson
6. Tyrone Mears
7. Eric Vernon

This is a strong defense but the 11 on the field still have to play their part

I think any player that does not pass the ball well is going to struggle to make a John Barnes squad. I think most of the top players will show for this match but do not be surpised is there is no Fuller, King or Gardner for various reasons. I think Shavar Thomas will get a call due to his strong passing and his familiarity the the opponents and MLS stadiums.
