it wud also help if a big team like inter milan for example came to jamaica and set up one of their youth acaemies like they have in cameroon or ghana... i think the austrian/ new york red bulls are doing something similar in ghana as well
i kno its not the same as jamaica having their own national footballer academy, but it would be a start and i would still be capable of instilling the basics they need to become succesful pros

Does anybody here know the real height of Donavan Ricketts? I saw where the Gleaner listed him as 6' 4". I think he's somewhere around 6' 6" or 6' 7". He's got to be more than 2" taller than Marshall and Pepe. btw, Good move for Ricketts and I'll on the Record saying MLS is not a Bush League. its a Good league better supported and organized than our NPL but Talent wise their not Miles ahead...

He is 6 feet 4. so am i. After the Guatemala match in Nov 2007. he was walking back into the tunnel and so was I and wen we were side by side we were the same height

So JY, you are 14 and havent grown in over 12months ? And what were you doing in the tunnel, thought it was players and officials only?

I turned 15 on november 24 ericdread. I had a VIP pass. My dad is a Digicel Dealer so he can get passes

So JY was it pure coincidence that u end up walking next to Ricketts? or did you actually seek him out so could walk next to him? You should measure yourself again just to make sure you're still 6' 4"
