Hull City chairman Adam Pearson has confirmed that the club have offered to pay up Jamaican duo Ian Goodison and Theo Whitmore on the remainder of their contracts.

Much speculation has surrounded the duo and most City fans have accepted for a while that this could be their last season in the black and amber after both players turned down fresh contract offers earlier in the campaign.

Their current deals with the club expire at the end of July but the pair could leave before then with Pearson commenting:

"We've offered to pay up Ian and Theo on the remainder of their contracts and are awaiting an answer from them.

"Until that happens there's not a lot else to say."

Ian Goodison has only played 1 game since Xmas due to a mystery knee injury sustained in the controversail Motorbike accident..so for last years Player of the Year...this season is a year he will want to forget.

While Theodore Whitmore showed tremedoes form before Xmas and was quoted as saying that he has his passion for football back and is loving every minute of it at Hull City...and hopes he can help hull achive promotion threw the divisions" however in january his form slowley decreased as did the rest of the side who now lie outside the playoffs with no chance of promotion and have had to appoint Jan Molby (former liverpool legend) as manager.

Theo & Ian were belived to be the highest paid members of the 3rd division.

Any news on the future clubs i'll let you know

just looking at the "Jamaican national team now" topic now and very few people have Theodore Whitmore in the squad...i take it he has being playing pretty crap for Jamaica aswel as Hull City

he can be on fire for 20/25 mins....but the other 70mins he pulls off some what of a Disapearing Act

Jack you are right Whitmore has never been the same after Shorty's death. It is a double shame, seems as if Jamaica lost two great ballers that day. I wish him all the best though.

Due you think there is any chance to renegotiate there contracts for next season?

Boss' disappointment at Jamaican duo ^top
Jan Molby has admitted his disappointment with the attitude of departing Jamaican international duo Theo Whitmore and Ian Goodison.
The Tigers boss has backed the decision not to offer them new contracts at Boothferry Park for next season, after the pair rejected new terms in February and were told that there would be no improved offer on the table.
Indeed the original offer was quickly removed and in recent days chairman Adam Pearson has put a deal to The Reggae Boyz that would see their current contracts paid up.
Molby said: "I get the impression that both players can't wait to leave and go back home.
"That may be just as well because neither feature in my plans for next season."
Picture: Whitmore will be leaving in the summer

Good question Gigo but I figure that since they had turned down a new contract, they must have something better planned.

Peace
