Ites, I had the pleasure of speaking with, Ms. Anderson, the Principal at McGrath High school and she would like to extend her gratitude for the donation you guys made. The school is a fairly young school and she is extremely proud of her students. She did have a few questions as to who we were etc., I assured her that we were an online forum with the desire to help, etc...
She says she will have the computer teacher have the guys access the forum.
I will be visiting them on my next trip as we are arranging for my friend (the Orthopedic surgeon) to address the Athletic Department.

Yow Princess... I was doing some investigations on te weekend... On TV they were taalking about this youth academy they set up with little or no monies but I am still investigating... I have seen footyballs for about �5.... So will 10 of these be ok...????????

Princess, I'm not sure I understand, have you made equipment donation to the school, or the principal was just thanking you because they are in tow to receive the donation?

They have already received the equipment. I did advise her that it was only a donation, as we were not in a position to officially sponsor the team. She added that the students were doing well academically, several having earned CXC's. I told her that it was important for us to know that in addition to being involved in sports that the students understood the need for a solid education.

Is this The Football Academy (Whitefield School in London) with locations in Dubai and Helsinki? Or is this in Jamaica? Pls advise. There are several such programs worldwide, particularly in Africa, and you are right it doesn't need a million $$.

Do you have a way to send them to Jamaica? You need to calculate actual cost per ball if shipping, also tax/duty. If you could rally the UK based members to donate a few more (do I hear 50?)then it would be worth shipping at once.

I ordered a few samples from one manufacturer to see the quality. If the PVC standard is a good grade then I suggest we purchase in bulk (25 or over approximately $5 per ball). I would like to take as many as I can next month.

Any suggestion for another school (elementary or other)?
