anyway people it is too long to write however the good news is that the tapes are on offer at uwi
congrats to the uwi crew

I hope it wasn't just a Warner/Blattner-Bashing Session. That is, I don't think any of the information caught anyone by surprise. We may not have been privy to the details of his actions, but like our oun Chief there was/is obviuous mismanagement and misappropriation of funds. Were any ideas set forth for the future, even the rest of the year. How will the situation affect the region, particularly for Jamaica in the near future. Are the members of the Federation calling for a re-org or will it continue? Any suggestions for positive change, development, etc.? Who is Mr. Andrew Jennings? How much is the tape? I know whole heap a questions...

trust me princess there is more to this than just warner/blatter bashing
it also entails our own duplicity in the debate
as right now there is a very real chance of warner being arrested on visa fraud charges
how would that look for cfu
not to mention the fact that we vote AS A BLOCK
if there was any change in administration
we might come out badly and be cast into the football wilderness as it were
so do not look at this from a simpleton's point of view
now is the chance for the forum to establish itself and press for changes in our football structure
where i belive on a whole we have mostly been disenfranchised
and banished to the netther world of talk radio
where our muted cries at times happen to reach the ears of the football gods as they lay waddling in all the goodies...
think on these things and i will be doing by best to get the tape and even put in cd, which despite its delicate nature is a much more stable medium in the long term
cost is mabe about $600- $700

as far as i have been told so far...

Ironically, CONCACAF's statutes state in its first principle of Objectives, Article 2.:
"To promote football by all means [it] may deem appropriate."
I guess "it" felt it was appropriate to act in whatever manner! I hope this heralds a REAL change, a GOOD change and the RIGHT change. It's been said that you can make the most honest man dishonest by putting him in a position of power and control, and I would add, control of finances (or Power corrupts!)
