The only thing I am upset about is that it was not done before the Canada game! We could have been sitting on at least 4 points right now!

It is unfortunate Simoes lost is job because he did select the right player's or used our seasoned veteran, this firing could have been avoided if the recruitment was more open to all our eligible players.
When him start call up Bomber, Hue, Moodie, J Taylor, Goodison and three 19 year Woodbine, Taylor and Thorpe I know we were F$%&#&&&&K. Where you all think we were going with them. Those kids were not ready to play in the group of death where you of to play like it is final round.

After watching the game against Canada live and seeing the players selected and his substition pattern, I must admit he should have been fired then. He brought on Hue with 2min to go, left an ineffective Burton on for 80min, as yet to play Fuller and Shelton together for any extended period of time when it's clear that is the best combo. Jermaine Hue from the little I saw looks way better than 80% of the mid-field out there. It just seems silly what he was doing and you don't have to be a football guru to see it.
Playing with one striker against Honduras but not Mexico which is a defensive formation leaves you scratching your head.
why wait to fire him when we can bring back our ballers now for the three games left? we needed a change fast thats why they fired him so they can bring back some players cauz he would no allow it.

Football administrators in Ja need to wheel and come again. We expect to qualify for WCs without having a foundation to do so. We dont av a professional league, we dont av a youth system yet we feel seh we shld qualify for every world cup. Look at the performance of HVFC in the champions league, that should give u a good idea of Jamaica's football.
Thats Y i was shock with simoes strategy. What he is doing is good for the medium to long term but the program needed some short term accomplishments/push start and that means using the better players.

JRAY thank you for the clarification. I like Simoes but is decision in is second coming to used 19 year olds and up and coming players in this crucial round was wrong. We had a stronger team vs the Bahamas, Simoes put is pride first this time and the captain just let him do his job and he failed. Many coaches around the world bearly know the players name but they still work with the best available. What kind of leader or you if you cannot control your players and get them on the same page. I was convinced Simoes/Burrell was going to recruit the best to ensure qualifying to SA2010. ie recruiting Nosworthy, giving Langley, Euell, Stewart, Davis, Ryce, Ford, Thompson, Richards a chance, maybe coaching would have made some of these players better.
Personally i don't care that much about the results but play the best team, put forward the best effort. Now I remember why this idiot was fired the last time he was here. And i was one of them calling for his head too. Check the archives!!!
