Congratulations to the team of athletes who represented themselves and did Jamaica proud. It does my heart very proud to wave my flag.
"I think this team is one of the best prepared teams to attend the Games," he said. "A lot of work was put in the preparation, and urged by our sponsors [Puma], we were able to accomplish many things," said Anderson.

Just a note, will we ever hear these same words echoed as our Boyz return home from a game! Sigh!

I suspect you are referring to Mr. Bolt. Its been a while since I have been following track and field and I am certain if he gave a performance like this anywhere else he would have won the Austine Sealy Award. Aneisha did very well too and she was up for the award and I guess she winning was good, however the man smashed two records as a opposed to one by her. They won the same amount of medals 4 however, if you know track the winner of a 100m is always more revered than any other event. He won the 200m and 400m and she won the 100m and the 200m. Again I am not too sure why he did not win the award, but a panel usually appoints awardees, so that could be it. Anyway I am going to get in contact with a Jamaican Track official that went to see their views
