Beat Villa 3-2 at the Reebok, no sign of JJ but Bibi played the whole game.
Bibi did as well as ever, he took more of a defensive role and therefore didn't shine as much as in recent weeks. He had a good run at the Villa defence in the second half and got booked for squaring up and giving a deserved mouthful to a Villa player, luckily Paul Warhurst got in the way before anything came of it.
There's an interview in 4-4-2 magazine with Bibi and Michael Ricketts in the 'my secret vice' section - a bit of disagreement seems to have occured over who's the better snooker player, although they agree that JJ's the worst of the lot!! For anybody who's interested, a very sweet picture of Bibi in the interview - i'm so gonna marry that boy!!

I think 40 points is a safe bet.

Wouldn't like to say how many will be needed, we've just got to keep winning. Never known a relegation fight like it, if we'd have lost yesterday we'd be seriously into the scrap, we win tomorrow and we're mid-table, a good consistant run and some results in our favour and thinking of Europe isn't as ridiculous as it sounds!!

The whole EPL is far more exciting this year, plenty of teams can still go down, and plenty can still win the championship. Every game is crucial.
I thought Bolton played very well yesterday and deserved the win overall. It was good to see Djorkaeff getting back to the sort of form that we know he is capable of, and he's still not completely back to full match fitness. I thought the new Greek defender had a good debut too. Nolan was a superstar, and his winning goal (from a free-kick) was exquisite.
A couple of weeks ago (after the Derby game) I was convinced we were going down, but now I've recaptured my optimism I think we'll stay up. COME ON YOU TROTTERS!!!

Actually quite disappointed (not that it was bad!)with Youri's performance yesterday, at Charlton he was absolute genius, yesterday not quite so much.
Herbie, who's your player of the season? I'm currently torn between Simon Charlton and Bruno N'Gotty!

Player of the season? I'll wait till it's finished, but I have a few in mind (Charlton being one of them).
