Match report:
GENEVA, March 27 (Reuters) - Cameroon twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Argentina in a pulsating World Cup warm-up on Wednesday.
Substitute Patrick Suffo headed home the African champions' second equaliser from a corner four minutes from time as Cameroon fought to save their unbeaten record under coach Winfried Schaefer.
Valencia's Pablo Aimar had given World Cup favourites Argentina, now unbeaten in 16 matches, the lead for the second time with a fine breakaway goal in the 63rd minute.
Claudio Lopez launched a lightning counter-attack, feeding the speedy Claudio Caniggia on the right and Aimar ran on to his through ball to slip it past goalkeeper Alioum Boukar.
Argentina, dominant in the opening quarter of an hour, went ahead in the 17th minute after Marc-Vivien Foe had headed against the bar at the other end. Aimar's jinking run into the box ended with him being brought down by Raymond Kalla and Juan Sebastian Veron put away the penalty.
Cameroon equalised within four minutes when Samuel Eto'o headed home Geremi Njitap's free kick. Cameroon had threatened to score two minutes earlier when keeper German Burgos went down to turn away Eto'o's low drive from the right.
Argentina, with Veron dictating their thrusting movements, took the game to Cameroon and pinned the Africans in their half for the first 15 minutes.
NEAR MISSES
The South Americans had two good chances to go ahead in the opening five minutes.
Veron crossed from the right close to the goalline but the ball crossed in front of Boukar's goal without Lopez or Aimar managing to reach it.
Then Aimar put Lopez clear on the right and Boukar pushed away the Lazio winger's shot from a tight angle at the near post.
Italy's keeper Burgos showed his unease with high balls when he punched a cross he should have caught and had to dive to save the subsequent shot aimed at the top corner.
Cameroon twice hit the bar in the first half with a header from Marc-Vivien Foe and a free kick by Geremi just after the half hour.
When Cameroon pressed at the end, Burgos tipped a header from Rigobert Song over the bar, but was unable to prevent Suffo's equaliser from the corner.
Play went from end to end throughout an enjoyable match with Argentina looking to avenge an upset 1-0 defeat in the opening game of the 1990 finals in Italy, the countries' only previous meeting.
