Unless it can be shown that Simoes was doing or saying something inappropriate that justified the alleged diss, if you diss the program, you got to go. You have to have discipline, and you can't have a player acting as though he runs the team, because if you diss the boss, you are undermining the boss and team discipline.
If what AKA is saying is true, King deserved to get cut.

The speculation is killing me - Simoes should state why a player is team captain one game and then dont get call up for a crucial game. This is especially alarming when the player is your most productive striker and from the games I have seen one of your best players period. I know alot of yard man dont like the UB40 yutes but without players with european/overseas experience JA is going nowhere. The point is you cant have one size fits all when you have a team of different personalities - it wouldbe great to have your best players following the coaches script but just like Phil Jackson had to bend a litte for Michael Jordan Simoes need to bend for his "stars". You cant 'bwoy' up your players period (this is not a collection of U19s). But your stars especially have to treated like stars - and the caoch bend a little. Unless Marlon told Simoes about his parts he should be in the squad - now is not the time to drop one of your best players. The professor needs to check his ego - in dealing with a variety of players like I said one size cant fit all - how you communicate to the player is also crucial. BRING BACK MARLON before it is too late.
So FBForm, I agree with some of what you say about allowing some flexibility to deal with some egos of players who have proven themselves invaluable to the team. However, it has limits. Now I don't know what King said to Simoes.
I am assuming whatever he said must have been significant enough for him to get get kicked off the team. I mean, according to AKA, he got a mild punishment (benched against Bahamas) but then he must have taken it to another level. A nuh mi alone did see it....I was going to touch on this in my post, but decided to be more general. Personally, I got the feeling that King look down on the Jamaican players - this was most evident in the US game in Ohio. I have no insights into the team, but from my observation, it seemed that some of the players were a bit hesitant with King on the field. I remember one instant in particular when he called from and did not received the ball - he told the player to F off... like I said, good goal scorer, but team may be better off without him.
