Bradford City have sealed a Jamaican hat-trick by announcing the capture of flying winger Omar Daley.
The 25-year-old will team up with fellow Reggae Boyz Donovan Ricketts and Jermaine Johnson after signing an 18-month deal.
Daley, who is said to be even quicker than Johnson, has been keeping him out of the international side on the right - and Colin Todd is promising plenty of thrills for the City faithful.
Talking to the Telegraph & Argus he said: "You look at how JJ has excited everybody at the football club this season and this boy is going to do the same.
"It's another good coup for us because he is very talented player and I think we've got another winner on our hands."
Daley, like Johnson, will arrive at the Intersonic Stadium for a second crack at the English game.
Alan Pardew took him to Reading in 2003 where he made seven appearances from the bench but did not feature at all once Steve Coppell took over.
Daley moved on to Preston under Craig Brown and played another 17 games but only two from the start. He scored once in a Carling Cup tie at Mansfield Town.
He left Deepdale in January 2005 and has been playing for Charleston Battery in America's USL - their equivalent of the Coca-Cola Football League.
Daley, a close pal of Ricketts, has seen how well Johnson has done after being given another chance to prove himself in England. And he believes he can follow in the same way.
Daley said: "I've been there before and I know what they expect - always an 'A' game. Every day you have to be at your best.
"Now I'm much older and I've learned and I have to just look forward to the opportunity and grasp it with both hands."
His capture ends a long chase for Todd who first took note of Daley's talent when he was still manager of Bolton Wanderers.
Todd said: "He was only a kid then, about 17, so he didn't meet the international criteria. But he's always been on the shopping list and is one I never forgot.
"It's taken us a long time to get him and we've been working on the deal since October but I know he will be worth it.
"I don't know what his fitness levels will be like compared with the rest. But I'm sure he is going to come in and make a real impact."
Daley, who can also play on the left or down the middle, could fly in to West Yorkshire early next week. His work permit has been granted and is now on its way to Jamaica for him to sign.

Tripeous could you please do the honors sir?
Jamaica is the new shopping..................... fill in the rest.
Funny how one time we couldn't get one player signed in England and our world cup stars plied their trade in D3.
At first they didn't want us now they all upon us(Hip Hop 101)
Now we have players a get signed left and right and all 3 players a get signed one time so much so that the news of a young Jamaican forward moving to the Premiership is met with yawns from people like Saltman and Princess(NPL is better than international ball)as their favorite baller SHELTON is set to star in the Prem right alongside the top players in the world.
I hope nuff a unnu have unnu blood pressure pill when unnu see JJ, Fuller, Claude and Shelton make all Prem team in the same week.
Oh what a day that would be, unnu woulda have to run away fi all a month or two round here as it wouldn't be pretty.(tell dem no Pelepapa)

How Long I've been saying Colin Todd should be getting more love from the JFF. This guys has now paved the way for no less than 5 Ballers to make a living in England.

Just make him the teams scout

Not sure you could big up Boxhill. It is because of the lack of playing International Matches why Daley and Shelton took so long to get over to England.

I think Daley should be used as a Cafu/Dani Alves overlapping right back. His fierce tackling, fitness and pace are his strengths and that would help him shine more there than in midfield. Having said that, I think he will still produce in midfield at that level but I hope Bradford fans aren't expecting a deceptive dribbler like JJ. He is more direct and more likely to take long range shots. He is also a better crosser and passer of the baller.

Jahjesty,
I think Daley is a much better attacking midfielder than right back. When his team needs an extra defender, he has the versitility to switch to right back or defensive midfield, when needed.

Daley's biggest problem is runing back from attack to defense and making a rash tackle which usually result in a card.
I hope Colin Todd can work on that. JJ also had that awful habit too so Todd maybe on to something.
playing on the wing give him some good space to move but if JJ is already there maybe he can help in the central mid as Bradford seems to be conceding a lot of goals.
Also of interest is Dean Windass the top striker has been loan out to Hull City for the rest of the season so it may mean JJ as striker and Omar playing wide.

Todd isn't rushing to sell JJ. He knows what he has and he knows that when JJ improves he can get about a million pounds for him in the summer.
JJ has too much speed and more skill than Ronaldo to boot. He will terrorize defenders in the Prem when he learns to track back and defend from the front.
The man dem nah rush nothing.
Daley thing sell off too as Eboue and them no have nothing in terms of speed on Daley. Pace and skill is a prized commodity in the EPL these days but unnu done know that.
Jamaica the new shopping ground for AFRICANS(try and go round that!)

Glad for Daley, he impressed me big time after watching him years ago in that 5-nil drubbing we got from the US in DC. Hard working player and he's well deserving of his chance.
